Image
Good evening! This is actually the first time I wrote a K-Drama Review here because I normally didn't watch that many K-Drama. Actually, Memories of the Alhambra was the third on-going drama that I followed, the other two are It's Okay It's Love and Circle. So, let's just jump right into the review. p.s. mind you, I'm not gonna talk about all episodes, I'll just talk about the stories briefly. THE STORY LINE *MAJOR SPOILER ALERT* The first scene on the first episode showed a boy calling someone on a phone booth and he asked that person to meet in Bonita Hostel in Granada, and after that he run away from the telephone booth like he was chased by someone. It turns out that that person is Jung Seju (Park Chanyeol) and the one he was calling is Yoo Jinwoo (Hyun Bin), CEO of J-One, an investment company specializes in optical devices. So, it turns out that Bonita Hostel's owner is Jung Heeju (Park Shinhye), Seju's older sister, and Seju

Here I am with another movie review.. I'm so sorry that I didn't post any movie review last year because 2018 was such a busy year for me. So, from now on, I decided to put a lot more care for this blog. Here's my first movie review after a year long hiatus LOL So.. I actually got curious about this movie because I read the synopsis on the internet, I'm curious on how the director combine a war movie and dancing. Then I watched this movie and I'm beyond amazed! Well, here' the movie review and hopefully it's readable LOL THE STORY LINE *MAJOR SPOILER ALERT* The story takes place in Geoje Prison Camp during Korean War in 1951. In the prison camp, there's North Korean people, South Korean and American. And they didn't get along at all. So as the story goes, the Brigadier General Roberts (Ross Kettle) asked Jackson (Jared Grimes) to produce a dance team with the prisoners so that the prison will get media attention and mak

DISAPPOINTING K-Pop Release in 2018 (Part 3)

This is the 3rd part and the last part, enjoy! 21. Chungha - Love U       Release Date: July 18, 2018 Again and again, I forgot to put this song in the last part lol. I don't think this song is the best Chungha ever released. This song sounds a bit bland and sounds just like another tropical house songs. But I believe that Chungha will release another bop this year. 22. Jennie - Solo       Release Date: November 12, 2018 I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I'm sorry I didn't find this song great. I actually expected that Jennie will release this kind of song for her solo, but this song still a bit lacking in many aspects. The song feels a bit too rush and the choreography is not as great as everyone made it seems to be ._. 23. Wanna One - Spring Breeze       Release Date: November 19, 2018 I thought Wanna One will end their era with a BANG! But I guess I was wrong... this song doesn't sound any different from their

Well, without further ado, let's get into it! 11. JBJ - My Flower       Release Date: January 17, 2018 I forgot to put this song on the last part (again) lol. Well, I like JBJ and I like all the members (at that time), but I think after the release of the amazing 'Fantasy', this song was lacking. And this song is not really my style. 12. BLACKPINK - DDU-DU DDU-DU       Release Date: June 15, 2018 I don't know.. I expected a bit more for their comeback. It doesn't mean that I don't like this song, I like this song and I still listen to it up until now. But I feel like BLACKPINK could do better. But their MV didn't disappoint, it still amazing as ever and it looks hella expensive. 13. Momoland - Baam       Release Date: June 26, 2018 I gotta admit that this song is fun and exciting, it's also easy listening, but it sounds too similar to 'Bboom Bboom'. I understand why the agency gave them this song, but at l

Let's be honest, talking about bad song is more interesting that talking about good song, right? So, in this occasion, I would like to share my opinion about the bad or disappointing k-pop releases in 2018. Without further ado, here it is: 1. INFINITE - Tell Me     Release Date: January 8, 2018 This is the first time I didn't like INFINITE song that much. I still listen to this song, but I feel like something is lacking in this song, and this song was meant to show the fans that they are still strong as 6 after Hoya left. But... I didn't really like this song, it sounds repetitive (well, almost all kpop songs do) and boring. 2. Sunmi - Heroine     Release Date: January 18, 2018 After 'Gashina', this song sounds a bit bland. Before the plagiarism controversy, I already didn't like this song (btw, the way Sunmi and Teddy addressed the controversy suck). And luckily for her, her next release (Siren) is great. If she releases bad song

In this part, I will put great songs that are not released physically (such as SM Station's songs) and some b side track (that has an MV). Let's enjoy! This is not in particular order. 1. NCT U - BOSS     Release Date: February 18, 2018 This song for me is the best NCT U song ever released. Even though I'm kinda confused why they put more member in this unit (AND REMOVED TEN), I live for this kind of concepts and song. Oh, and Winwin walk in the last chorus really screams "BOSS" to me lol and it kinda (KINDA) make up for his lack of line. 2. NCT U - Baby Don't Stop     Release Date: February 26, 2018 FINALLY TEN GETS HIS TIME TO SHINE! I still don't understand why SM didn't put him in other NCT unit beside NCT U. He has great voice, his dance is great, and he's also handsome. Taeyong's and Ten's voice in this song blends well. And their dances is amazing (well, of course). 3. DAY6 - Beautiful Feeling     Release

Here's part 5. Enjoy! 41. IZ*ONE - La Vie en Rose       Release Date: October 29, 2018 I didn't expect this kind of debut from them actually, I thought they will release cute and safe song and concept, but they release this kind of song, and the song is amazing! The dance is exceptional, their voices are great and the outfits... is great! This is, by far, the greatest debut song from Produce groups. We can clearly see that Wonyoung is the center, but the other members are not overshadowed. Everyone got their own part to shine. 42. EXO - Tempo       Release Date: November 2, 2018 THEY'RE FINALLY BACK! After a year and a half singing Ko Ko Bop in tropical outfits, they're finally back and with Lay also (even tho he's only appeared in the Chinese Version MV)! This song is so "EXO" and the b sides are all amazing (my favorite is Gravity and Smile on My Face). OH, AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE A CAPELLA PRE-CHORUS NEAR THE END?! 43
